People need to know about the business practices of "Mike Diamond", whoever that may be.
I got sucked in by the "Smell Good Plumber" ads. Called and got an appointment right away. The guys who showed up were very nice.
Under sink drain conection. $75 to come and give a quote. $1174.55?? But they gave me 15% off - $998.37 wow what a bargain. Look under your sink. The pats are less than $50 at Home Depot. Maybe two hours work for a novice like me, certainly less for the pros.
Paid their tarriff of $75 and then complained. Right away was told it should have been $350, but they had had to call the guy who quoted.
Later got a call and they said it should only have been $768. Again called BS on them and they offerred to refund my $75. Told them no and promised to expose them for what they are.
Angie's list contractor did the job for $289. Be aware and don't even ask these pirates for a quote unless it is free.
They do smell good but their business practices have a different cache'.
