The same thing happen to me, saw the advertisement for $39.95 clean your ducts, two men came to the home, came in, look at the furnace, said the unit is real dirty, and that we had old duct work and needed replaced. Price $ 2,200.00 to do the job. It is a good thing I did not have the work done, he then said for $ 300.00 he could just clean the ducts and keep the same duct work. Right. Told him to leave the house, but he called later to ask if we decide to have it done $2,200.00. We need to stop these people, talk about false advertising.!
